Contracts with Beaverdam Construction have been signed and the pre-construction meeting with the engineer(COE) and Contractor (Andy and Yvonne James) was held on 12.28.2022. Everything went well with the meeting and a soft project start date of mid February was discussed. Columbia gas will be relocating a few gas mains in the next couple of weeks.
Council will be working on the property assessment legislation starting with the Resolution of Necessity for the project at the Jan 24th Council Meeting - I have attached the draft resolution with the exhibit to be present to Council.
The property owner work permit letters were sent out on Tue, 1/10/2023. This letter includes the work permit that needs to be signed and returned (stamp envelope was included) to the Village. A sample of the letter and work permit was distributed in the September 29th public meeting.
