Planning Commission & Zoning Ordinance

The Ada Planning Commission is in charge of monitoring the Village Zoning Ordinance and making recommendations to the Village Council regarding changes that the commission deems desirable.  Both the commission and council have public hearings for the purpose of eliciting public comment on recommended changes.  In past history, public comment has been key in the decisions that both boards make.

The Zoning Ordinance is enforced by the Village Zoning Inspector.  The inspector issues zoning permits, stop work orders and citations for violations of the ordinance.  In addition, the Ada Zoning Inspector is charged with enforcing the Minimum Maintenance standards of the village.

All of these ordinances are available on this website or via links from this website.
