Ada/Liberty Township EMS message regarding COVID-19 response

To The Residents of Ada and Liberty Township

Ada/Liberty EMS would like to share the following Information.

 

We will continue to respond as needed and you will receive the same care regardless of the current COVID-19 virus information. If you are feeling symptoms that have been outlined at the the following website, coronavirus.ohio.gov  please follow the recommendation listed there. We encourage you to call your primary care provider if you think you are experiencing the symptoms listed for the corona virus.  Please try to avoid just heading to the Emergency room or urgent care, you can also call a hotline number that has been set up by the Ohio Dept of health 1-833-427-5634. This is a 24 hour hotline. If you call for an ambulance for an illness you will be ask some additional questions to help us determine if additional  protective equipment will be needed for EMS,  We can't stress enough that you do your part to help us help you by following the guidelines set fourth by the Ohio Dept of Health  at  coronavirus.ohio.gov

EMS will still be responding to many other types of Emergencies during this time as well. Please do your part to stay safe. Effective 03/17/20 St Rita’s Mercy Health and Lima Memorial Health systems have a Collaborative Hot line number you can call 419-226-9000 if you do not have a primary care Physicians or cannot reach them.
