    The Village of Ada is now accepting applications for the following position: Pool Manager Hourly wage: $15.85 Seasonal position, approximately 40 hours per week, or as needed The Pool Manager is responsible for overseeing all of the components of the operations of the Village Swimming Pool, including: * Personnel: scheduling, training, assigning work * Facility management: overall presentation of the facility, including cleanliness, organization; ordering supplies, as needed * Water quality: testing pool water and making adjustments as needed * Accurate and timely financial reporting and deposits * Food Service: maintaining certifications which are compliant with Ohio Department of Health Standards and managing the concession stand accordingly (the facility must have an employee with a Level 2 Food Safety certification; other members of management shall be required to maintain a minimum of a Level 1 Food Safety certification) * Adherence of personnel and guests to the pool rules, safety practices and procedures * Professional communication with vendors, guests, and personnel * Marketing: responsible for marketing approved events hosted by the Village, including the marketing and...Read more

    The Village of Ada is now accepting applications for the following position: Cashier Hourly wage: $8.85 Seasonal; approximately 20 hours per week, or as needed Cashiers are responsible for: * Greeting patrons in a professional and friendly manner * Processing daily and season pass admissions with accuracy, including responsible cash handling, maintaining season pass records, and operating the cash registers * Maintain and operate the concession stand with professionalism and adherence to applicable food safety regulations and practice; includes appropriate food storage, preparation, and handling; operating cash registers and responsible cash handling * Communicating with pool management on scheduling needs; regular attendance as scheduled is a must.     The Village of Ada is now accepting applications for the following position: Lifeguards Hourly wage: $10.75 Seasonal; approximately 20-30 hours per week, or as needed Lifeguards are responsible for: * Monitoring pool activities of patrons in order to prevent injuries and save lives * Enforces rules and regulations * Inspects the pool area for cleanliness and cleans as necessary to maintain a clean facility * Inspects and ensures the readiness of safety equipment * Follows all pool safety practices and procedures * Must have a current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR Certification and Lifeguard Certification prior to being scheduled for work. * Communicating with pool management on scheduling needs; regular attendance as scheduled is a must.
